- Long description
- Pottery lamp of buff ware. Ovoid with wide wick nozzle and hole and wide, horizontal flange handle at the rear. Flat bottom with short, slightly expanding sides to shoulder and narrowing sides to the top. The central filling hole is surrounded by a channel, as is the wick nozzle and wick hole. The sides of the nozzle and body are adorned with straight lines in relief which reach from the channel rims to the edge of the object, including the handle. [MOBB [OPS move] 26/10/2016]
