Description
Glazed pottery stand lamp. [MOBB [OPS move] 5/12/2016]
Long description
Glazed pottery stand lamp. The lamp itself is the body of a bird with it's wings outstretched horizontally and its tail turned upwards, and its head acts as the wick nozzle. This is attached to the front of a tall cylinder, near the top on where with a mouse sits, and a ridge towards the bottom formed to resemble a ridge in a piece of bamboo. The pillar is set at the back of a circular dish with a raised rim. The mouse and the top of the 'bamboo' are coloured black, the bottom of the 'bamboo' and the dish are a beige colour. There is Japanese writing on the back of the 'bamboo' pillar. [MOBB [OPS move] 5/12/2016]
