The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2010 as: “Sagami no kuni Tayu-san zu”, Panorama of Tayu-san. “Meiji juroku nen roku gatsu”, June of the 16th year of Meiji (1883). “Shuppan nin Iwashita Kintaro”, Published by Iwashita Kintaro.
