The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2009 as: Outside, “Ho kaigan ikko sanzon mida eizo, Shinshu Zenko-ji betto, Daikanjin” - three images of Buddha from Zenkoji temple in Shinshu. [SM 15/07/2009]
