The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2009 as: Written in red: “Fujo yoke” -Protection against uncleanliness. “Goshu” or “omamori” – amulet. “Kinryusan Sensoji” - Sensoji temple of Mt. Kinryu. [SM 10/02/2009]
