Research and responses

The top four Kanji (Chinese characters) of the inscription of this object say "Miho-jinja". This is the name of the shrine. [SM 27/11/2008]

The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2009 as: “Miho jinja shogan joju gokito shugo” - Miho shrine amulet for fulfilling a variety of wishes. [SM 10/02/2009]
