Description
Wind catcher made from three recycled tin drinks cans.
Long description
The cans are linked together with wire, ending with a hook for suspension at the top. The top can and the bottom can are green in colour and are from 'Hi-Spot Lemon' drink. Flaps have been cut out of the sides of the cans so that they catch the wind and twirl round. The central can is red and white and has several cuts made in the body of the can and has then been squashed slightly. According to the donor the wind catcher is more for visual effect than for the sound the cans make. [MdeA 23/2/2001]
