Long description
Tinder Pouch. Rectangular double pouch of leather, closed with a flap on each side. There is a gold ornamental button in the shape of a lion on one side, and the other side is covered with silk brocade. There is a double silver chain attached at the top, connecting the pouch to an enamelled brass button or netsuké. Please note that originally contained the flint [1938.35.685 .2], the fire steel [1938.35.685 .3], and the tinder [1938.35.685 .4]. [ILL [OPS move] 14/9/2017]
