- Amulet envelope [.1], containing 3 more small amulet envelopes [.2 - .4]. [.1] is stamped with an inscription in black on one surface and a red stamp on both surfaces. [.2] has a stamped inscription in black ink and contains a length of red ?silk (visible through the paper). [.3 and .4] have the same inscription stamped in black on one surface and a small red stamp on the back. [SM 19/09/2008]

- Research and responses
This object was examined by Professor Itaru Chijiwa during his research visit in November 2008. He stated that the object was from Kyushu. "go-shugo" is written on the front of [.2]. 1908.82.1.2, 1908.82.1.3 and 1908.82.1.4 have the inscription "Kitano-tenman-daijin-o-mamori" written on the front. [SM 13/11/2008]
The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2009 as: Outside: “Kitano jinja goshu” - Kitano temple amulet. Inside: “Kitano tennman daijin goshu” - [SM 10/02/2009]
