- Hanging candlestick and rushlight clip. Metal candle clip and socket made of 2 round bars, the hooked bar with spring plate to fix candle in position. Attached to a long rod with hook at the end. The bar or rod passing through two holes in iron lugs with spring between. [MOBB [OPS move] 5/4/2017]

1966.3.41Brass folding lantern in the form of a book. Jointed handle attached to the spine of the book. Small hook attached to the top of the spine. The exterior has a scene with three figures on horseback and the date 2-12 SEPT 1685 impressed. When opened two pieces unfold, one with a hole for a candle, the other perforated to diffuse heat, which connect with a broken catch to form a triangular shape.
