1941.7.12Pottery lamp of buff ware slipped red. Pear shape with round vertical handle at the back. The bottom is flat and the lower portion is rounded. The top is slightly domed, and dominated by a ridge which forms a circle around the central section and creates a channel down the wick nozzle and finally runs around the wick hole. There are two holes in the central section with a vertical nodule between them and a horizontal ridge just below. When the whole is viewed from above it gives the impression of a mask.
