The arms or finger blades are made of slightly trapezoidal rectangles which attach to crescents which terminate in birds heads - giving the overall appearance of swans' necks. There is a raised boss around screw. The snuffer box is cylindrical. The tip of the object is broken off and missing, and therefore the foot below the tip is also missing.
