Research and responses

This object was examined by Dr Elizabeth Graham, UCL, as part of the Fell funded project 'Characterizing the World Archaeology Collections of the PRM' in January 2010. She advised that this is Mayan. [AS 29/01/2010]

When Prof. Rosemary Joyce saw this material she agreed that it was Mayan and further noted that it would have been imported from Belize. [AS 01/12/2010]
