Research and responses

The Scord of Brouster [HU 2560 5165] is a Neolithic settlement and field system between Bridge of Walls and Walls in the parish of Walls and Sandness, Shetland. It is likely this axe is associated with and was recovered from this site. The settlement and enclosures are recorded on the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland's Canmore database of archaeological monuments under site no. HU25SE 26 and Canmore ID no. 405. The record can be accessed online at http://canmore.rcahms.gov.uk. [MN 13/07/2009]
