Research and responses

The writing on this object is typical of Pitt-Rivers and it is therefore thought that Pitt-Rivers personally collected these during field walking in the Brandon area. This may have been an independent visit or maybe he was one of the men who assisted Flower during his exploration of the Valley of the Little Ouse River. [CG [Excav. PR] 03/12/2013]
