Research and responses

I think the reference to Sarum actually means Salisbury, Milford is to the East of the city, close to Laverstock [AP 29/08/2006]

A description of the geography and geology of Milford Hill is given in "Blackmore H.P. 1865. 'On the discovery of flint implements in the Drift at Milford hill, Salisbury' Quarterly Journal of the Geological Society 21:250-252" [CB 28/10/2009]

This object was looked at by Ella Egberts (Bournemouth University). The visit took place June 30 2015. [NC 06/07/2015]
