Long description
Bronze implement with a possible cutting edge - possibly a knife. The object has an expanded blunt end and a wider curved edge, which expands into two projecting ?barbs. This object has been placed on display with European axe heads. It is possible it is an axe head. The object has a red painted circle on it next to the accession number. [SM 03/04/2007]

Related Documents File - Not certain. But I think the lower edge of the curve may have been a cutting edge. Suggest may be something like a leatherworker's knife used also for harder materials by hammering on top of central spine by which the knife could be held. No idea of date other than probably Bronze Age [no idea of origin of note [AP Leverhulme project on founding collection 1995-1998]]
