[CMP 09/08/2010] p 162 - Socketed spear head with side loops, blade angular in outline, upper part nearly straight sided with sharpened edges, lower part very slightly concave with blunt edges, midrib keeled with flanking ribs. Loops pointed oval in plan, concave in cross section. Surfaces quite well preserved, edges of upper part of blade ground in modern times [Drawing] [Metallographic examination and analysis provided] - Sn 5.2888%, Pb<0.02%, Sb<0.05%, Ni<0.01%, Bi<0.004%, Fe 0.0069%, Ag 0.029%, Mg<0.005%- Confirmed as a bronze [GB 25/5/2005]
