Description
Brass folding lantern. [MOBB [OPS move] 29/3/2017]
Long description
Brass folding lantern. Rectangular prism in shape with rectangular apertures for talc windows (which are missing). Candle socket present within. Each side is topped with an arched section which has impressed crescent lines adorning it. This is above a line of short vertical perforations. The back side of the lantern has a twisted metal handle and the side itself also has impressed decoration. The top is perforated and hinged to fold inwards when collapsed. The bottom is similar, but instead of perforations it holds a candle socket. [MOBB [OPS move] 29/3/2017]
