Description
Jingle (dance girdle) of cotton cloth with strings of seeds and pieces of shell.
Long description
Jingle (dance girdle) of cotton cloth, with strings of strung seeds and curved, triangular pieces of shell at the ends, worn over the buttocks. There are 55 hanging shells. The fabric band was originally striped. The warp threads have been plaited into four plaits which are used to ties the band around the waist. [HLR]
