Long description
Strings of shell beads, used as currency. Four strings of mainly red shell beads tied together. One pair of strings terminates in a length of white shell beads incorporating a larger shell disc and a turtleshell disc, ending in a tassel of white shell bead strings with halved seeds. The other pair of strings terminates in a length of white shell beads incorporating a larger shell disc and a metal button, ending in a tassel of white shell bead strings. [El.B 13/05/2011]
