Descriptiont taken from Conservation Card by Lorraine Rostant - Black clay formed into shape of bird with flat base which has been cross hatched to form abrasive surface. rest of bird burnished to give shiny surface. (Lorraine Rostant 07/11/01) [LKG 29/01/2009]
