Research and responses

Note that there is no mention of 11 baskets or baskets and lids in the accession book entry unlike delivery catalogue description or green book. It may be that the nest has been separated. It is possible that this and other entries listed on pages 152 and 153 of the green book were first listed on page 149 of that book. The fraction number associated with entries on pages 152-3 is 'out of sequence' [11547] would fit in sequence if linked to page 149 which reads 'Two packages said to contain skulls and various curiosities. From Mr C Jamrack'. It is impossible to match such a vague entry but the entries on pages 152-3 do included skulls. The main reason why I have added this note is because if this supposition is right, this object could have been obtained from Mr C Jamrack about whom there is no further information [AP Leverhulme project on founding collection 1995-1998]
