Research and responses

Other items with the fraction number ?/ 11547 are linked to entries on pages 152 - 153 of the green book and there is an entry which would match this object [153.5195 1 North Indian bell bronze]. The receipt is dated 16 December 1880. The problem is that this object has already been linked to the above other green book entry because of the date. This is in fact the only Indian bell that could match either entry. It is possible that there is a second as yet unidentified object which has not been accessioned, for that reason a new entry has been made. [AP Leverhulme project on founding collection 1995-1998]
