Long description
Wooden figure of woman holding a child, with red, green , black and yellow beads around ankles and neck. Stood on an ovoid base attached to a cylindrical stand. Figure has carved facial features and protruding ears, two prominent carved breasts, flared skirt, and two cylindrical legs. Arms bent to hold the child in front of the midriff. Extends at the the top of the head, to form cylindrical shaft and a bow shaped head-dress. [IL [OPS Move] 6/6/2017]
