- Long description
- Iron stirrup with curved square footplate, trapezoidal side pieces, curved arch and circular hanger. The side pieces and the arch are inlaid with silver in grid and foliate designs. Traces of tin foil covering remain on the footplate, which has thirteen holes punched through in a diamond pattern. One of a pair of stirrups, for the other see [1884.51.6 .2].
