- Long description
- Cartridge belt and bag of leather, decorated with an incised design and highlighted with red pigment, with 12 bamboo cartridges. ]The belt and bag are decorated with an intricately incised scrolling floral pattern. The sections of leather are stitched together with copper alloy wire and the belt is fastened with an iron pin through two iron loops. The bag fastens at the front with a perforation through the lid and an iron hook on the front of the body. The bag does not open properly, so it is not possible to count the cartridges or view one properly. However, they appear to be made of bamboo with a wooden stopper and a length of string.
