Long description
Long dagger [.1] with two edged blade and brass bound handle, with decorated leather sheath [.2] with arm ring. The dagger has a long straight-edged, two-edged tapering blade and a brass bound wooden handle with a cruciform pommel. The band of bound brass has a stamped design on it. The handle is also decorated with inlaid brass circles. The tips of the cruciform pommel are also made of brass. The sheath is made of red, green and black leather with ribbed leather arm-ring and brass chape. The front of the sheath is decorated with incised and stamped designs. [SM 14/06/2007]
