- Long description
- Katar with long blade and nearly parallel side guards and ornamental crossbar grip. The blade has been made separately; where it is attached to the handle is decorated with an incised design. The grip consists of two baluster shaped crossbars linked together by two small, incised pieces of steel. The side guards are incised with longitudinal lines and are wider at the base than towards the blade. [SM 09/03/2007]
