Long description
Quiver constructed from cylindrical dark brown stained piece of bamboo, with two bands of plaited cane around it. One of these bands has a piece of cane threaded through the plaiting that curves up and down. A strap formed from a strip of cane is connected to the two bands. Connected to the band with the curved piece of cane are a smaller cylindrical bamboo tube, and a basket constructed from loosely woven strips of cane, containing ?aconite root. Cap [1884.17.12 .18] covers the open end of the quiver. [EH [OPS move] 13/9/2017]
