The Sotheby sale referred to in the primary documentation is probably the sale of Neligan material on 8-9 April 1878. The Lugt number is 38242. There is a copy in the British Museum library (and the Department of Antiquities library). I have updated the other owners and field collector fields accordingly [Dan Hicks 30/07/2013]
