Long description
Wooden stool with rectangular, concave seat, supported by five pillars, and a flat, rectangular base. The four outer pillars are rectangular in section with projecting serrations, while the fifth, central pillar is hollow and carved with checker openwork. The seat is decorated with two rows of square perforations. There is a rectangular recess on the underside of the base with a large hole opening into the hollow central pillar.
