Knife [.1] parang, with single edged blade and curved wooden hilt. With wooden sheath [.2] bound with two bands of cane. The blade has a convex cutting edge. The handle has four carved depressions on each side and a hole at the butt. The sheath is made from two pieces of wood, loosely bound together with plaited cane. [SM 31/05/2007]
