Marriage chest. Rectangular with a domed and hinged lid.
Long description
Marriage chest. Rectangular with a domed and hinged lid. Wooden with studded metal strips along the lid - painted red. The sides of the chest are elaborately carved with figures, foliate designs and twisted pillars. It is painted red, green, black and yellow. There are metal handles on each side.
