2001.22.1Peaked hat or cap. The cap is made from the bracket fungus Ganoderma Applanatum. The cap is decorated at the front with sections of fungus cut out in the shape of leaves and a flower and then ?glued to the cap. At one side of the cap there are sections of fungus which have been cut out in the shape of a reindeer and fir tree. The section in the shape of a fir tree has been painted dark green but apart from that the main body of the hat is light brown and unpainted. [MdeA 16/11/2001]2001.22.1
