1938.35.1111.1Square metal box with two circular openings for ink pots and a pistol mechanism for making fire. There is also a tall, narrow cylindrical candlestick or pen holder of decoratively twisted metal attached to the top. There is a flint wrapped in textile in situ in the striker arm, or hammer.
