- Hoe or spade with large iron blade set onto cylindrical wooden shaft. The blade is flat and triangular in shape, having a slightly rounded point in the cutting edge. The recrangular tang extends into a large loop socket which is set onto the shaft. The blade is bent downwards from the socket. [JC [OPS Move] 21/12/2016]
