Long description
Sword [.1] with straight two edged blade and incised wooden hilt, in a decoratively incised wooden sheath [.2] with carrying cord. The sword blade has a raised central ridge The hilt is short and flares at either end and is incised with geometric designs. The sheath is made from two pieces of wood bound together with three bands of twisted animal hide. It is elaborately decorated on one side with incised geometric patterns and has a projection on the front beneath the mouth with a hole through it. A length of sisal cord is attached through this .
