Long description
Round shield made from metal, the front is engraved and inlaid with lacquer. The front of the shield is engraved and inlaid with white metal curvilinear design inlaid with red and green lacquer. There are four bosses on the front of the shield decorated with a floral design. At the back of the shield is a padded square covered with green textile edged with leather. There are four metal hooks attached, one at each corner of the square. Attached are two textile handles stitched with red cotton yarn. [FC 18/08/2010]
