Description
Saddle bag for camel.
Long description
Saddle bag for camel. Sub rectangular, the base end tapering from pointed corners to a central fringe. There are additional fringes at the two upper corners and two lower corners where there are additional rectangular leather pieces, overwoven with multicoloured strips of leather. All fringes are of multi coloured leather strips, some painted with horizontal lines. One side of the bag is decorated with red cutwork leather panels with additional tooled decoration; formed of a central diamond and triangles in the four corners and an additional semi circular leather panel at the opening with painted and tooled decoration. The opposite side of the bag is decorated with four red decorated leather panels. [BS [OPS move] 18/10/2017]
