Long description
Elephant spear comprising a wooden shaft [.1] with detachable spearhead [.2]. The shaft has a narrowed section in the middle, below which it expands before tapering towards the butt. Above the narrowed section it expands again into a hollowed socket. The socket is covered in a thick sheath made from animals' tails. For the spearhead which fits into the socket see [1934.77.3 .2].
