- Long description
- Woman's skirt of dark blue cloth with red bands. The cloth is formed of two panels of dark blue woven cotton, stitched together with dark blue yarn. It is decorated with six broad red bands, each formed by supplementary weft inlays of red wool. There are three narrow warp lines of red along either selvedge, and weft lines of red at each end. There are also single lines of red wool supplementary weft placed at irregular intervals in the dark blue areas. The warp threads are twisted and knotted into a fringe at each end.
