Long description
Carved ivory tusk, carved in bands of human figures, birds, elephants, lizards, gazelles, bats, conventionalised spiders and geometrical designs. Between each band , there is a narrower band of chevron lines. Encased with metal at the base and the tip, with hooks at either end attached to a chain for suspension. [IL [OPS Move] 26/6/2017]
