Coffee pot of copper and brass. [MJD 23/04/2013]
Long description
Coffee pot of copper and brass. The pot is made of copper. The body has four panels of scroll design with background of incised dots in copper alloy. The pot has a curved body widening to base. The pot has a handle on one side and a long curved spout on the other. The spout has a hinged lid of copper alloy. The pot has a copper alloy conical lid with hinge attached to the top of the handle. The base of the lid is covered with tin. The lid is topped with a copper spike, decorated with small brass pendants hanging from chains. There are five further pendants hanging from the pot.
