Description
Bamboo bird snare. [CW [OPS move] 16/8/2017]
Long description
Trap for birds and small animals, consisting of a bamboo rod pointed at one end and split at the other. Two pieces of bamboo are tied together and bent into a 'D' shape. These are slotted into the split end of the rod and bound in place. A length of twisted plant fibre with a bamboo spike knotted along its length is attached to the rod at the base of the split.
