Bird trap, a length of ?wood or ?bamboo bound with plant fibre string and with a split bamboo noose. The length of wood/bamboo is tapered and has a 'V' shaped notch at the widest end. A smaller piece of wood/bamboo is tied to one end of the string and is bound with the string to the main piece of wood/bamboo. [SM 06/11/2007]
