Long description
Conical fish trap of thorny Calamus sticks fastened inside split (opened out) bamboo stem with stone weight and cane line. The lower half of the trap is woven bamboo. The Calamus sticks extend towards the mouth of the trap. The cane line is tied in a loop and hooked on a small side branch of the bamboo node at the apex of the trap. [MJD 12/11/2009]
