- Long description
- Woman's black skirt with blue panel, decorated with lines of supplementary weft in red-dyed dog's hair, red wool, and some yellow cotton yarn. The cloth is constructed from three panels stitched together: two outer black panels of different width and the blue band. The black panels have some warp threads in red and blue, with also some red and blue weft threads along the short edges. The blue panel is decorated with supplementary weft inlays in red-dyed dog's hair. The wider black panel is decorated with red wool and yellow yarn in short supplementary weft lines near to the selvedges. The narrower black panel has small supplementary weft designs in red wool along the warp stripe. The cloth has a fringe at both ends.
