Description
Spear with iron head, with geometric decoration round neck. Attached to wood shaft by nails and brass clamps. [JMC [OPS move] 24/8/2018]
Long description
Spear with leaf-shaped metal head socketed onto a a wooden shaft. The socket is secured to the shaft with two iron nails and two eliptical metal mounts. There is incised geometric decoration of zigzags on the socket and the neck, which is twisted perpendicular to the shaft. There is a long, flattened metal spud socketed to the the butt, with a disc at the top of the socket. This is also secured with nails and mounts. [JMC [OPS move] 24/8/2018]
