Long description
Painting of a man making a large pot. He wears a red turban, yellow trousers and a white shawl/sash. On his upper right arm the man wears a thin red bracelet. A large pottery dish containing water has been painted in the background between the man and the pot he is making. In the foreground to the left side a very large pot has been painted, and behind the man a smaller pot is on the floor. [One of] 10 paintings on paper in card mounts, illustrating Indian crafts. Note that the front panel of the cardboard mount has separated from the back of the mount. [LKG 16/11/2009]
